Database Description
MERYB is a web-based application, mainly designed to store and analyze plant metabolome data obtained by GC-MS an 1H-NMR. It was developed in CBiB (Bioinformatic Center Bordeaux).
The purposes of MERYB are (i) to store, track, and query information related to metabolomic experiments, i.e., from tissue sampling to metabolites identification and quantitative measurements, and (ii) to view raw data.
MERYB is based on the PostgreSQL Database Management System.
MERYB includes more features like :
* a powerfull spectra overlay,
* advanced data processing (Noise reduction, spectra alignment, peak list extraction),
* extracting facilities, based on X2DBI[1], a query-oriented data management system,
* statistical analyses based on X2BSWF [2], a Web-Based tool for Statistical Analyses
* easily embeddable into a wiki page for customising projects (see an exemple : TO6002).
